March 28. The new exchanges attended our first study abroad event - a “meet and greet” with students who already went abroad and the foreign exchanges who are here from the countries. It was amazing and I am very pleased. I am blessed with very helpful people who are going to be great mentors and future friends who will share this journey. We’re all going to have an Italian dinner together before this semester ends!

I made the right decision of going to Italy and I think I’m really going to fit in well. Now it’s time to start getting familiar with the language!

It’s 2am on March 27, but rewind about 8 hours:

I was officially accepted into the BBA exchange program at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.

I look at these two massive goals I set for myself this year (a summer internship and to study abroad) and I am blown away as I realize that I got what I wanted- and worked really hard for. And that makes all the bad things 12 months can bring be crushed by the empowering foresight of what the next 12 months will be blessed with.

March 1-3. I attended Longhorn Awakening and I have never felt so on fire for God. He has given me so many opportunities and I can’t wait to document them here. I am an instrument of His peace to share His light around the world!

It’s February 16th and I just signed with Deloitte to intern with them this summer in Chicago. It’s really crazy to think about all the places I’ll be in one year but this is what I wanted and I am so glad.

It’s January 28th and I just made this blog in hopes of studying abroad in Milan this fall. I wish to take my butterfly and all those interested on this journey with me.
